Aprilaire 6202 Zone Control Panel is designed for a 2 zone system that uses single stage equipment (not heat pumps) to provide heating and cooling. The Aprilaire Zoned Comfort Control system can work with virtually all low voltage mechanical or electronic thermostats. All zone thermostats must have an "OFF" mode to prevent unintended operation. If specifying an auto changeover thermostat, precautions must be taken to prevent condenser cooling mode operation during low temperature conditions, and heating mode operation (heat pumps only) during warm temperature conditions.
